Lifeblood NSW

ALEXANDRIA, NSW

Home to Lifeblood’s Sydney Processing Centre, a purpose-built, highly specialised facility operated by the not-for-profit division of the Australian Red Cross and funded by federal and state governments. The centre processes, stores, and distributes around 40% of Australia’s blood and breast milk supply. Lifeblood is the nation’s sole provider of fresh blood products, and also supplies plasma for therapeutic use while supporting organ and tissue transplantation, breast milk donation, and microbiota collection for clinical applications.
